Who it suits
- 13.3 mm core. A thinner core is livelier, the traditional pick for pop (Onix, Paddletek), though Pickleball Effect's 2026 analysis finds modern 16 mm paddles have lost little of it (Pickleball Effect).
- Light, 7.3 oz. In Paddletek's lightweight class. A very light paddle absorbs less shock, so the arm does more of the work (Paddletek, Pickleball.com).
- Elongated (shape estimated from the paddle's width). Trades forgiveness for reach, and scores lowest of the three shapes on comfort measures (Pickleball Effect).
- 5 in handle. Short for a two-handed backhand (PickleballUS); a shorter handle leaves more of the paddle for the face (PickleballUS, Pickleball Effect).
Not published by Orca: grip size, swingweight, twistweight. The finder never hides a paddle for a missing spec; it ranks it lower.
